How to measure
1. Measure in the morning
Measure immediately after waking up, before breakfast. Your waist may be slightly swollen at other times of the day, which can affect the measurement.
2. Relax your body
Stand naturally and relax your abdomen. Do not hold your breath or suck in your stomach. Keep the measuring tape comfortably against your skin without pulling it tight.
3. Find your natural waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
If you’re unsure where to measure, place four fingers horizontally above your belly button—this is generally the area to measure.
4. Measure against your body
For the most accurate result, measure in close-fitting clothing or directly against the body. Avoid measuring over loose or bulky clothes.
5. Choose your size carefully
* First-time shapewear users: If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the size within your measured range rather than sizing down.
* Experienced shapewear users: If you’re already comfortable with firm compression, you may consider going one size smaller.
* Do not size down blindly. The right size should feel supportive and comfortable, not painfully tight.
Postpartum & Larger Waist Measurements
If you are postpartum or have a relatively larger waist circumference, please use your actual waist measurement as the primary reference when choosing your size. If you’re unsure which size to select, contact our dedicated sales team for personalized sizing assistance.
